Although I'm a California girl born and raised, I have a little southern soul I picked up while attending college in Florida. My Florida years are some of my best years! We still go back to Florida often so if you're having a Walt Disney World wedding, We're your team!

One of the best experiences of my life was interning at Walt Disney World in their leadership and guest relations program. Learning the in's and out's of what makes Disney so magical plays into every part of what Light + Lace is. Don't be surprised if a little magic slips into your session or if I've got your kids talking about their favorite ride or Disney snack. by the end of your session. 

A lot of people will ask you, what's your "why" and there is no greater why for me than my husband and my two girls. The greatest part of owning Light + Lace is the freedom it has given my husband and I to be in the every day moments of our girls lives. Our girls are still little, so our days are full of editing while also pausing to give a snack or settle a toy argument but we wouldn't have it any other way.

I first picked up a camera in 2007 while I was interning at Walt Disney World. It was over ten years of learning the manual game, perfecting my editing in lightroom and photoshop that led me to where we are now. In 2019 I finally upgraded my dinosaur of a camera and started offering family sessions. Before I knew it we were doing weekly sessions, hosting mini's and capturing love stories together with my husband at weddings.

It's my heart to capture the families in our community & the love story of new brides, while supporting local photographers. Helping new photographers figure out how to get started well is my bread and butter. Nothing makes me happier than seeing others succeed.
